Our policy on refunds, cancellations, and points purchases.
Last updated: July 2026
Lex Now is owned and operated by VAKIL NOW TECH, 1/6, Gupta Residence, Bal Bhawan Road, Gandhi Nagar, Jind, Haryana – 126102, India.
Advocates purchase points through the Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) using their respective in-app purchase systems. Lex Now does not collect or process these payments directly — Apple and Google handle billing entirely on their own platforms.
Points are consumed immediately when used to unlock a client query, view contact details, browse the Client Directory, or submit a proposal, and are non-refundable once spent. Unused points have no monetary value outside the platform, cannot be withdrawn as cash, and are non-transferable between accounts.
If you believe you were charged in error for a points purchase, refund requests must be made directly through Apple or Google, following their standard in-app purchase refund process:
Lex Now cannot directly refund an in-app purchase, as we do not have access to process or reverse these transactions — that capability sits entirely with Apple and Google.
The Lex Now Pro subscription is billed on a recurring basis through the same in-app purchase systems described above. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your device's subscription settings (Apple ID → Subscriptions, or Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions). Cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period already paid for — your Pro access and its features remain active until the end of that period.
Consultation fees are agreed directly between clients and advocates and are settled outside the Lex Now platform — for example by UPI, bank transfer, or cash at the time of consultation. Lex Now has no involvement in collecting, holding, or processing these payments, and therefore cannot issue refunds for them. Any dispute over a consultation fee, including non-payment or a request for a refund, is a matter between the client and the advocate directly.
Clients may cancel a confirmed appointment with a minimum of 2 hours' notice, in line with our Terms of Service. Since consultation fees are settled directly between clients and advocates outside the platform, any refund arising from a cancelled appointment (where a fee was already paid) is handled directly between the two parties — Lex Now does not hold or process this money at any point, so there is nothing for us to refund.
Deleting your Lex Now account does not, by itself, entitle you to a refund of any points purchased or Pro subscription time remaining. Any unused points or subscription time are forfeited on deletion. Refunds for the underlying in-app purchase, if applicable, must still be requested through Apple or Google as described in Section 1.
For any refund or cancellation-related question not covered above, reach us at support@lexnow.in and we'll help however we can — even where a payment itself was processed by Apple, Google, or directly between you and an advocate.
